A Brief History
Our background has always been in control systems design, initially for multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams. We are increasingly involved in the early stages of clients’ projects to provide strategic input, even while the earliest functional descriptions of systems are being prepared. As a result, we no longer just provide technical expertise, but can also focus on the crucial aspects of a client’s business and their future, operational requirements.
Firstco has continued to grow over the last few years with talented project managers, engineers and support staff adding to the expanding capabilities of the team. This team includes specialists in all of the above systems, many of whom are chartered by the relevant institution (IET, IMechE, ICE).
Because Firstco has this breadth of experience, our assignments often run in parallel with all stages of a project lifecycle, from strategic overview and concept planning, through to design and delivery of turn-key projects as specialist supplier and systems integrator.
