History

A Brief History

Firstco was formed in 1998.

It evolved from the JMC Partnership which had been started in 1989 by Mark Calnan and John Myers who had worked together for a number of years providing controls systems designs to the engineering and architectural teams at ARUP, (pka Ove Arup Partnership).

Recognising the need to grow from providing control engineering system solutions and consulting expertise they and their staff were joined by Bill Martin and Mike Gray.

This allowed the newly formed Company to offer the final element to its Systems Solutions – from strategic overview and concept planning, through to design and delivery of turn-key projects as specialist supplier and systems integrator.
