Andy Watkinson

As a Senior Engineer at Firstco since July 2003, I am currently working with the Heathrow Express Extension Commissioning Team. I have a multifunctional role where I am called upon a daily basis to perform, amongst others, the following roles; Project engineering and management to Sales Support, Business Development and Marketing. I am also involved in Customer Training and Site Surveys, prior to and during Projects.

My prime responsibility is to support and provide additions to the Heathrow Express Tunnel Control System; including timetabling, CCTV, fire and gas systems as well as Public Address.

Prior to Firstco, I had worked as a senior and design engineer for a number of companies having gained BTEC qualifications in Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Ordinary National Diploma in General Engineering.

I am now a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET).
