Andy Watkinson

Andy has been a Senior Engineer at Firstco since July 2003 and has recently been working in the UAE on one of the worlds largest security projects. This included Radar, Thermal Imaging, CCTV, Access Control and Control Rooms. In general, Andy has multifunctional responsibilities where he combines the roles of Project engineering and management to Sales Support, Business Development and Marketing. He is also involved in Customer Training and Site Surveys, prior to and during Projects.

Andy continues to support the Heathrow Express Tunnel Control System; including timetabling, Tunnel Ventilation, CCTV, Fire & Gas, Public Address, Control room operations and systems integration.

Prior to Firstco, Andy worked as a senior and design engineer for two companies having gained a BTEC qualification and Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering where he worked in the utilities, food and beverage and transportation industries.

Andy is a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET).
