Mark has nearly thirty years multi-sector experience in the design, project management and commissioning of integrated solutions for controls and communications systems and mechanical and electrical plant. Much of his experience has been gained in large multi-disciplinary integrated transport infrastructure projects, both in the UK and overseas, with specific emphasis on developing solutions that meet business and operational requirements. Most of the project assignments have been taken through from concept design to handover into revenue/operational service.
Mark joined Arup in the graduate intake of 1982, where he met John Myers who he was to join partnership with to create JMC in 1989. Mark formed Firstco, in '98, to develop further the services offered by JMC particularly the delivery of systems solutions. JMC's client base was fully transferred to Firstco and Mark continues to operate as a senior executive in the company with responsibilities for the ongoing growth of the business in addition to senior consultancy roles on a variety of projects.
