Mark Calnan

Mark has over twenty-five years experience in systems design, project management and commissioning. Much of his experience has been gained in large multi-disciplinary integrated transport projects, particularly involving controls and communications systems - taking design concept through to completed installation.

Mark joined Arup in the graduate intake of 1982, where he met John Myers who he was to join partnership with to create JMC in 1989. Mark formed Firstco, in ‘98, to develop further the services offered by JMC particularly the delivery of systems solutions. JMC’s client base was fully transferred to Firstco and Mark continues to operate as a senior executive in the company with responsibilities for the ongoing growth of the business in addition to senior consultancy roles on a variety of projects.
