Firstco win multi-million pound Oman Airports project

Firstco has been supporting Ultra Electronics Airport Systems in their bid to supply all airport systems for the two new airport developments at Muscat and Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman.
Firstco are delighted to announce that Ultra were successful in winning the £200m+ contract and that Firstco will be supporting the Ultra Project Team by providing Design and Delivery Management as well as Stakeholder Engagement and Interface Management Teams.
The successful award follows a lengthy tendering process which Ultra and Firstco have been working on together for the last two years.
The Ultra project team has now been on-site in Oman for several weeks so it's all hands to the pump as the project steps up a gear. The Firstco team will consist of approximately 14 engineers (including local Omani graduates) and will be led by Firstco Director Martin Parris who will be based in Oman for the next three years.

The three year contract will be worth in excess of £5m.
