Firstco win contract with TFL Tramlink - 10th September 09
Firstco are delighted to announce they have been awarded a contract by TfL Tramlink
for works on their Croydon based Tram system.
The works which are associated with Tramlink's various Control and Communication
systems will include:-
- Capturing and developing the End User Requirements through a series of Stakeholder
workshops.
- Undertaking a condition survey and review of 11 sub systems
- Producing a GAP Analysis addressing any shortcomings with the existing systems and
recommending the remedial action required to meet the User Requirements.
Systems covered by the scope include:
- Control Room
- Traffic Management System
- SCADA
- Passenger Information Displays
- PABX
- Closed Circuit Television
- Passenger Communication and Assistance
- Ticket Vending Machines
- Fibre Optic Transmission
Firstco were chosen for the project, following a competitive tender, due to their
significant experience in developing and designing control systems for the transportation
industry.
