Firstco begin Mauritius’ First Speed Camera Project - 09th July 2008
Firstco have been appointed by the Ministry of Public Infrastructure to supply, install and maintain a number of speed cameras which will be the first installed on the island of Mauritius.
Initial tests have begun and the system has been successfully demonstrated to the Vice Prime Minister along with delegates from the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and the Mauritius Police Force. Firstco are working alongside Sensys, the traffic information and safety product specialists within the motor vehicle sector. The system has also been demonstrated to the Mauritius press who were able to witness the state-of-the-art engineering services and product services which Firstco supply.
Firstco’s Mauritius office is now one year old and they look forward to working on many other projects on the island and elsewhere.
