Firstco supply Consultancy Services for Emirates Mauritius
Firstco Mauritius were not only appointed for supervision, but were
asked to become system maintainers for Emirates Mauritius after
impressing them with their expertise.
Emirates Mauritius engaged Wavetec (Pty) Ltd to supply an electronic
queuing system. Being the local representative of Wavetec products in
Mauritius, Firstco (Mauritius) Ltd took over the project management and
site coordination for the above project.
Firstco had to supervise the installation and assist in commissioning
of the system.
Once commissioning was completed and demonstrated to Emirates Mauritius'
total satisfaction, Firstco were appointed system maintainer.
The system itself can monitor the performance of counter staff and
consists of pre-recorded voice announcements which advise the next
customer which counter to go to. Also plasma screens display the current
ticket number and which counter the next customer should to go to.
