Specify

Strategy - Firstco work with our clients and their master-planners to identify the strategies, scope, approach and budget costs for all systems technologies.

Requirements - Firstco engage with the client and stakeholders to identify and capture systems requirements, using structured processes and tools.

Specifications - Firstco produce detailed systems specifications to be issued as part of a tender process and support the technical evaluation of subsequent proposals.

Design

Concept - Firstco work with the client, the architects, and the civil, structural and M&E engineers to produce a concept design and options.

Scheme - Firstco develop the design options and explore best practice technologies and solutions to provide indicative layout drawings, basis of design and bill of materials.

Production - Firstco engineers develop scheme designs to full production design for some systems and manage the design process and specialist suppliers, for the other systems.

Deliver

Manage - Firstco employ experienced systems project managers to ensure that the full requirement of specialists are mobilised at the right time and are focused on the overall construction programme.

Interface - Firstco work throughout to ensure that the interfaces and interdependencies remain focused on integrated delivery into operation, however it is packaged and procured.

Install - Firstco coordinate the physical installation of the systems with the architectural and services fit-out. Firstco also install specific systems.

Assure - Firstco are increasingly contracted to provide technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the designed solution is implemented and concentrated on the operational need.

Commission

Test - Firstco define test plans for all stages of testing. For factory acceptance, off-site and on-site testing, Firstco engineers can witness and manage the gateway approval process.

Commission - Once installed and tested, Firstco manages the systems commissioning programme on a system by system, or area by area, basis.

Integrate - As the systems are progressively commissioned Firstco manage and oversee the integration of these systems; both new to new and new to legacy, as required.

Operate

Trial - As the complexity and integration increases, trial operations become more critical to successful completion; Firstco manage, assure and document this key stage of a project.

Support - As a project goes operational Firstco support the transition and training of staff. We then continue to support the operation, often managing future upgrades and enhancements.

Maintain - Firstco have a 24x7 support and maintenance team, on call to conduct critical maintenance activities with the minimum of disruption to the business.
