We are thrilled to announce that one our colleagues, Andy Morgan has been awarded the APM Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) designation.
The APM Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) standard is a professional benchmark that demonstrates attainment of a defined level of technical knowledge, professional practice and ethical behaviour.
The ChPP is a relatively new award having only been introduced a couple of years ago globally. This means that Andy will be one of an, as yet, a small group of early recipients setting the tone for new levels of professionalism in project management.
This reflects well on him, of course, but also Firstco, as it will help us demonstrate to existing and potential clients our commitment to continuous improvement and development as well as the professional status of our employees.
If anybody is interested in pursuing ChPP status, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Having a proven track record delivering projects, programmes, portfolios or a key control or enabling function and;
- Having up-to-date knowledge of current practices and methods and;
- Being actively involved in the project profession.
