This exam sets the benchmark for project managers across all industries, and it recognises her development in the field over the past few years.

What is the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)?

The APM Project Management Qualification (SCQF Level 7) is a knowledge-based qualification. It enables you to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management. You’ll be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these elements interact and how your project fits into your strategic and commercial environment.

What does it cover? 

The syllabus assesses breadth of knowledge in all areas of project management and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge including:

  • budgeting and cost management
  • conflict management
  • communication
  • earned value management
  • leadership
  • negotiation
  • procurement
  • sponsorship
  • teamwork
